We are hiring for a field service executive Ahmedabad position at Solar Smart. This role involves on-site service, maintenance, electrical work, and supporting the installation of solar systems across Ahmedabad. Candidates with experience in solar installations or electrical services will be given strong preference, as the work requires technical accuracy and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
As a Field Service Executive, you will be responsible for managing installation tasks, resolving customer issues, handling electrical wiring, and ensuring smooth execution of field operations. The role demands attention to detail, a problem-solving attitude, and the ability to work independently at customer locations.
Working in this position gives you practical exposure to real solar installation projects, customer-site interactions, and technical problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with our installation and service teams, gaining valuable on-ground experience that supports long-term career growth in the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solar Installation and Maintenance
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to solar installations
• Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of solar panels
• Maintain electrical systems and ensure safe operation
2. Electrical Services
• Provide service and maintenance for electrical systems
• Perform house wiring tasks as needed for project execution
3. Documentation and Reporting
• Prepare reports and maintain records using Excel, Word, and Google Sheets
• Document completed work and share timely updates with the team
4. Compliance and Safety
• Follow company safety standards during fieldwork
• Ensure quality compliance in all installation and service tasks
Qualifications and Skills
Education
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, ITI Electrician, ITI Wireman, or BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering
Experience
• 1–2 years of hands-on solar installation experience (preferred)
Technical Skills
• Strong electrical knowledge and maintenance skills
• Proficiency in house wiring
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google Sheets
Other Requirements
• Candidates with prior solar experience will be preferred
